Rare 29 Year Old

This Rare release started in a refill bourbon hogshead which was filled with Fettercairn new make spirit on 11th December 1995. After 25 years the spirit within was hand transferred - within Warehouse 2 - into a single “Pink Oak Cask”. 

This barrel was created by Demptos in Bordeaux, primarily for wine, and took eight years of analysis and research to develop it. This "pink oak" is a rarity due to its levels of carotenoids. This oak provides elegant fruit and floral notes, in particular strawberry characteristics.  

After over 4 years of being closely monitored regularly, this cask was selected at the perfect moment.
